A full day to explore the Tevere-Farfa Nature Reserve from every point of view!
The meeting point is accessible by train (Orte–Fiumicino line), making it easy for participants to join even without a car.
We’ll explore the reserve both on foot and by boat. The same stretch will be covered in both ways — first walking, then by boat (or vice versa) — to enjoy the stunning landscapes of this beautiful section of the Tiber River from different perspectives.
From the boat, it’s easy to spot herons, ducks, and—if we’re lucky—a few birds of prey. Our guided walk will follow a trail along the riverbank, with stops at birdwatching hides, where we can take in the scenery and observe local birdlife.
Along the way, your guide will share interesting facts about the reserve’s natural features and the bird species we encounter.
Lunch will be served at Ecoturismo Tevere Farfa, an eco-friendly facility located within the reserve, where we’ll enjoy a delicious local menu.
